Anyone hear of this before?

Just finished a Boeing 777 & wanted to gice a gloss finish so I brought some Revell airbrush email color clear gloss, loaded into airbrush cup & sprayed it along model & to my complete surprise it looked like it was spraying a 'spiders web' which then covered my workspace so I had to clean up but when I touched the web like mess it totally dissapeared, Am I living in another dimension or is this normal.

Scott - I've had that happen with lacquer before, I believe I was spraying with too much pressure from too far away from the model and it was drying before it hit the model.  Thinning could be an issue too.  What pressure were you spraying at?

The best way I could describe what mine did was like thin strands of cotton candy... I lowered the pressure and it worked fine after that...
