If you mask the outline of your canopy (or the individual panels) with Tamiya tape and then fill in with Copydex latex glue, it works very well, and can be removed easily with your thumb when the paint is dry. Remember to clean out the brush you used to apply it with cellulose thinner.
This technique works well for masking generally, and is a lot easier and cheaper than using Tamiya tape to mask the whole model.
