Any good camo techniques?
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, May 20, 2006 9:42 PM
Hey, I'm a newbie and am not having alot of luck with camo.  I use an air brush, but it seems to splatter to much.  Any advice would be appriciated.  Thanks

Practice and then practice some more.
Sounds simple but that is the key. Wink [;)]

And experiment! Especially with dilution ratios and pressure.

Your problem description is rather vague.  Too much splatter sounds like either too much air pressure or overly thinned paint.  With my siphon feed airbrushes, I usually spray camo at perhaps 15 PSI give or take.  If your airbrush is gravity feed, you would probably want a little less air pressure.  Practice on some scrap plastic with different thinning ratios and air-pressure until you can get a clean line.
