Hey Dan, is that setup to plug into a cigarette lighter in a car?

Gee, not much work space in my wifes car for model building.
Think I'd rather grab her spare tire and bring it in to the hobby area. Wink [;)]

Colin, that compressor is like mine that I picked up from AirBrush Depot, love it.

Fired up my garage compressor the other day and checked everything out, serviced it, got it ready for some continuous summer action. Should have seen the wildlife run for cover, oh well... they do that whenever I start my truck too. All ready for spray time!

This ones more expensive than the others mentioned here, but it is a very, very nice compressor.

For the quality you get out of this one, I think its a good deal... and it is REALLY quite to!

I insist on using an air compressor with a holding tank to alleviate the pulsing problem associated with diaphragm and piston type compressors alone. However, if someone is on a tight budget, a small compressor similar to this sans the tote bag and hose can be had at BigLots and Freds for around $12.99. It is indeed meant for inflating tires, and will work with a car cigarette lighter as well as household sockets for power. Not ideal but serviceable in a pinch.

Chimera, did you look at that thing? I looks like a tire inflater! Probably just as noisy too.
I'll stick with my Harbor Freight Hobby compressorSmile [:)]

Hey, grejczyk, what noise level does that little bugger run at?  Loud?  Soft?

I have the older model that runs 40psi. It's decent but, I just ordered a Paasche Regulator w/ water trap for it as it's non-adjustable air flow. I'm running the Badger 175 now & I can't lower the psi. It's not loud but, not completely silent either but, it works pretty good.

At 50 bucks its almost to cheap to pass up, I was wondering if anyone knows how quiet it would be.
