Here's a couple of ideas, hope they can help.
1) Completely dis-assemble the airbrush and soak the main body in laquer thinner for a day or two, and clean the passages (Gently!) with a pipe cleaner and canned air.
2) Check / replace the Teflon washer for the head.
3) On re-assembly, make sure the head is making full contact with the main body.
4) Take a look at the paint supply 'circuit'. All connections should be tight with no scratches / burrs that could allow air to leak in.
5) Check the vacuum relief hole in the jar cap. It could be plugged w/ dried paint or the washer may be covering it when the jar is screwed on.
One thing I do to get a good seal at the threaded connections is to rub a small bit of beeswax on the threads. This also eases dis-assembly - just be careful not to get any in the internal passages. Good luck.
