No idea. I use only Testor brand paints. Keeps the confusion to a minimum. Testors suggests two methods:
Method 1 - Thick paint and High Pressure (around 30 psi)
Needle will be partial retracted.
Method 2 - Thin paint and Low Pressure (around 10-15 psi)
Needle will be fully retracted.

Since the Tan Noozle if for fine lines, you do have to thin the paint more than normal.

I think last time I tried I maybe hadnt thinned enough , its just that the tan one doesnt list thinned enamels in its profile  , maybe you have to thin more than usual as last time it got so blocked I had to strip it down , its prob just me Smile [:)]

There is no problem using the tan noozle with enamels. It's designed to use enamels.

it shouldn't damage it, if that's what you mean.  i don't use enamel so i don't know how effective it'd be but acrylics will spray with sufficient thinning and so should enamels.
