I agree with Lee. For that price, you should be able to load your color of choice, walk away and come back to a perfect finish.
A couple of days ago, I saw an airbrush on eBay that went for over $700, but that one was made in 1882. That I can understand ...
P.S. Got to poking around on the Micro-Mark website - they have a gold plated airbrush on closeout (!) for $124.95. Exerpts from the the description -
Custom-made for us by the Badger Airbrush Company, the Micro-Mark Gold Edition Airbrush has a special, patented teflon seal that allows the color cup to be rotated a full 360 degrees. With a simple twist, you can configure it in either gravity or bottom feed mode -- giving you two airbrushes in one!
All components are carefully machined of high-quality materials, inspected, assembled by hand, and then tested to assure you of receiving an airbrush meeting the highest of standards. Set includes airbrush with gold-plated brass body and stainless-steel needle, protective nozzle cap, jar with 33mm siphon cap, 8 foot braided air hose with gold-plated fittings, velvet-lined case and instructions.
Thats more like it!
