SNJ metalic color clean up?
Posted by gjek on Saturday, June 10, 2006 11:19 PM
I bought some of SNJ's gold buffing paint to paint some clock hands. Should I undercoat/prime in a paticular color? The directions say to airbrush the gold paint on. I didn't see any recommendations for cleaning the airbrush. Any advice? Any warnings or helpful hints about SNJ paints?   Thanks, Greg.

Lacquer is what you should use, it is a great general purpose solvent for most enamel/lacquer paint, it will also clean up hardened acrylic paints.  SNJ is a xylol solvent based enamel and can be cleaned up with lacquer thinner.
