Quick question regarding Alclad II
Posted by TryintoModel on Saturday, June 17, 2006 6:33 PM
I know your supposed to put a primer down before using Alclad, but what if its just a tiny part like an antennea mast on a 1/72?  I totally forgot to paint it and I wondered if I could get away with just putting the Alclad straight to it.

you won't have much luck brush painting it, but I would just dip it in Future and give it a couple of hours and spray it...   or you could cheat and do it with an aluminum or even stainless enamel... something that small won't show the difference in sheens really...   whether it be Martin or Charlie... (ok I couldn't resist that one Wink [;)])

Thanks tho9900.  Your probably right, a piece that small probably wont show much difference if I just paint it with aluminum.
