primer woes a lesson learned

I started a Hokum Kamov today and I picked up some new model master acryl primer. So I thinned it down with the proper thinner and to my dismay I thinned it too much.Sad [:(] No adhesion. Well.. maybe some.. but not enough. It peeled right off when I attempted to mask off a section. Wouldnt putting a flat clear defeat the purpose of a primer? So I shot the third dusting of primer straight out of the bottel. I'll check it out in the morning and see how it went. Wish me luck.
