could you tell me comments on quality finishing etc

I have read, a while ago now, that Aeromaster is no longer producing their paint line. There is a new brand out, similar ie. toned down for scale, by a company called The Color of Eagles. Surfing the web also discovered that Vallejo has a line named Vallejo Air and they have matched the Aeromaster colours and claim to be more usable. Haven't tried either of these so I cannot comment on quality.

I have used both Aeromaster & Gunze. I absolutely loved the Aeromaster acrylics, but I can't find them anymore. If you know where I can get some, I will be eternally indebted to you. I also got good results with the Gunze. The only thing about the Gunze to be aware of is that you can't apply Testors Dullcoat (my flat coat of choice) directly over it w/o damaging the finish.
I thinned the Aeromaster w/ distilled water, and Gunze w/ isopropyl alcohol.
Hope this helps !
