RAL 8020 - Afrikabraun

Having some issues trying to identify a good match for this color. Tamiya XF-57 Buff is supposed to be a close match, with Vallejo Model Color Buff 23 being the equivalent of that. Can't really find a Vallejo Model Air equivalency. Any suggestions? I'd prefer acrylics over enamels.

Tom (tho9900) has a link to a Vallejo equivalency chart. TOM! Please post the link again! I promise I'll bookmark it this time! Laugh [(-D]

Thanks, I've checked that one, and any other chart I could find which is how I got the connection via Tamiya's XF-57.

Actually, if anyone knows what's the best match for RAL 8000 and RAL 7027 that'd be more than welcome too.

NikToo,

I just stumbled across another reference which you might find handy.

PS: If Gunze Acrylics are available where you are, check out H79 Sandy Yellow and H402 Green Brown

Edit: I believe H79 represents the "early" Dark Yellow

Thanks! That's a great link, interesting read. I found that the Lifecolor WWII German Tanks set has the threee main DAK colors: 8000, 8020 and 7027. Going to give them a whirl as the distributor is near me.
