Get a moisture trap for your hose, and place it as close to the brush as possible without getting in your way. Empty the trap at least after each session.

Ross Martinek A little strangeness, now and then, is a good thing… Wink

There are filters you can get for that.  I used to live and model in a basement.  I found a dehumidifier to be VERY desireable.  It is shocking how much water one will pull out of the air.  In the summer, when it would be rainy, I would get three or four gallons in 12 hours!!!

Edit:  I used to use filters when I would spray autopaint.  Same problem, larger scale.  Here's the link I meant to put in.  Scroll down a little, there are some inline moisture traps.  I assume you already have a reg and air filter.

Problem with moister
Posted by Gumiflex on Thursday, July 13, 2006 4:18 PM

My workbench is in the basement. Since we have humid summers and lately ton of rain, I get good about of moister. So I'm spraying and next thing a big splash of water come out of airbrush (easy to wipe it off) but very annoying since will happen again in few min and so on and on...

Any idea how to take care of that problem?

Thanks
