Air brush

I wish it was that easy.  But alas the hand holding the AB and thinning the paint makes the fine line.Get a decent AB and then practice, practice and practice some more.  Maybe just maybe if you practice some more, you perhaps might be able to paint a line as fine as the maker says it can.

You could always start with the Iwata Custom Micron CM-C Plus, but for $385.00 there's no guarantee of the results.

It all depends on the operator and ton's of practice.

Airbrushes are like pickup trucks.  No matter which one you have, people are lining up to tell you its many flaws.  As long as it all remains in good fun, I guess there is no harm done

I always liked GMC, but for the last 12+ years I've owned the same Ford F250.

I like Buick and Chevy cars, but since 2000 my wife has owned a Ford Taurus GL wagon.

Actually I'd have to say that all the major airbrush companies are on a level playing field when it comes to fine lines. You base tip (nozzle/needle) size on the material you'll be spraying along with the pattern size. I can get a hairline with my 0.5-mm needle/nozzle spraying heavier paints such as enamels and textiles.

No mention of Iwata airbrushes.
