Adding clear gloss to Model Master flat paint?
Posted by echolmberg on Monday, July 24, 2006 12:31 PM

Hi gang!

I've heard of people adding clear gloss to their flat paints to give them a bit of a sheen.  Can the same thing be done with Testor's MM paints?

Thank you!!!

I believe so.  Just make sure you are using Testors Laquer Gloss Coat.  Mix a little and try it on some scrap plastic.

Thank you Jesse.  I wasn't sure if there would be a problem with one being "laquer" and the other being "enamel".  You're right.  I'll give it a try on a scrap piece of plastic first and see what happens.
