Airbrushing Future on Vertical Surfaces

I know that just about every Future topic has probably been covered in every possible fashion, but I can't find a reference to this one (at least after my futile search attempts).  My apologies to all if I am once again beating the dead horse

I have never used Future but plan to try it on a Panther G and ME 109 that are ready for decaling.  I have read the Complete Future posting and learned much from it.  I read that while the initial Future application can look a little rough, it will level itself out after a few hours of sitting.  I can understand that concept as it relates to horizontal surfaces, but how about vertical?  Will it even out correctly on a vertical surface (assuming I don't lay it on too heavily)?  Thanks.
