rudedog,

You're welcome. I got mine at a  LHS a while back . The stock number on the cover is 2020C . Not sure if it's still available .

The Model Master  Modelers Technical Guide has Model Master II Enamel / Enamel and Model Master II Enamel / Acrylic cross reference charts in the back that may be of help.Enamels compared to MM II are Xtracolor , Floquil Classic , Humbrol, Aeromaster  --- Acrylics compared are Orig MM Acrylics , Pollyscale, Tamiya , Gunze - Sangyo, Monogram Pro modeler , Accuflex , Modelflex, Pactra , Aeromaster acrylics , Niche acrylics . Plus this printing has arrows that denote colors available in the improved formula MM acrylics .

I wrote to Tamiya with the idea of posting a mixing chart for FS colors. They thought it was a good idea and that was the last I herd of it.   Greg

Here's another chart for ya, you'll need Microsoft Excel to read it (or Open Office, which is free at www.openoffice.org):

http://www.box.net/public/yr1yu0cj2l

Clikc on the link and it should download it, it's the same conversion sheet I host online, mainly for Vallejo Acrylics, but if you click on the Master Reference tab at the bottom it will give you the refs from Tamiya to MM paints.  Darson here on the board put it together so all credit goes to him.

Conversion chart ?
Posted by rudedog on Friday, July 28, 2006 5:20 PM
Hi gang.I was wondering if some enterprisingperson or company has made a paint manufacturer conversion chart.I only have Tamiya or M.M. available at my LHS.Yes ,I could get the other brands by net suppliers, but paint is 1 of those thing you need to physically see yourself to decide if it's the color you need. Some model makers have 1 or 2 differant types listed that compare. But rarely more than just 2 companies. So does anyone know of such a thing ?   Many thanks to anyone that could make my dreams come true.  Semper fi ,  rudedog
