Hi There

Is microscale masking fluid  able to be used for masking panels for shading aclad ? is it safe to use with alcald?

I say yes. because it does NOT bond with the models surface like paint or glue. Make sure to apply 3 light coats of it, letting each dry, otherwise it will chip when you try to peel it off (it bonds to itself better than to plastic). Don't worry about being spot on around the panels, you can take a fresh #11 and cut around the panel lines (lightly) so as not to damage the finish.

I also suggest coating the model in Future before doing this, just to be safe.
