paint mask longevity!
Posted by Daytripper on Thursday, August 3, 2006 1:35 PM

Hi all,

I'm halfway through painting a camo scheme on a ME109e4 and i have quite a lot of masking on the model, ( eduards mask set and vallejo's liquid mask) and unfortunatly dropped the airbrush on my workbench whilst cleaning it, and bent the tip. I have the required spares on order but will not receive them for 7-10 days, (nil stock)

My question is, will i experience any problems with mask/ glue residue if i leave it on for any length of time ?

Any advice appreciated.

I have no idea about the liquid mask, never having used it before.  I would expect that the Eduard masks would come off reasonably well and residue free.

Hi,

As it turned out the eduard masks and the vallejo liquid masks came of leaving no residue at all ( after 2 weeks).
