I just received an E-mail from Jan at Obeeliks. He says if I send him a photo of my compressor, plus measurments of the connection on the unit, he will advise accordingly. I have decided to go with a Silentaire 30-TC compressor and will be putting in the order as soon as this letter is finished. You're absolutely right about flowers for the girlfriend; and the day the parcel is delivered is gonna be just like Christmas in August! Thanks for all your help. I've been laboring over this airbrush/compressor decision for weeks now. And  evidently I'm not alone. One guy posted his grief about trying to decide by saying he just got liquored up on a Saturday night and just went for it! I guess with such a financial outlay for these tools, you want to do all you can to make the right choice for yourself the first time around. Anyway, thanks again Josè. It'll be a few weeks before I make the airbrush purchase as the compressor needs to come next; but I'll keep you posted when it's delivered at the very least. Later!

Hello chap
No, the link that Chuck gave you is correct; but maybe Mr Lermytte will take a few days to answer to you, but  he will do it; if you  think your message could have been lost,  write to him again.

As for the hose, I bought it ( three  in fact, as  I have another compressor near the spraybooth)  already made by him; you can make it yourself from the parts he sells ( unscrewing the  connector, putting the end of the hose, screwing the connector) I am very pleased  with them as they  are very wide, which seems to supply more airflow,  and they don't seem to stock water inside. But keep in mind that they  are mounted  with a  NW 2.7 female  connector to  match the male airbrush  connector, but also  NW 5.0 male connector on the other end, to match a female connector on the compressor. You can equip your compressor thus ( a little Teflon tape, a few drops of paste and you mount this connector : 10 minutes) I am equipped thus. The only thing is that if you plan to buy another airbrush in the future, it will have to be equipped with a quick connect ( in fact, all my airbrushes are equipped with a quick connect, H&S of course, Badger/T&C, Iwata, Efbe, Paasche; Gabbert are also equipped at the factory)
There could be an alternative, but I don't know if it can work : the same transparent wide hose with the female NW 2.7 connector for the airbrush on one end and a 1/4" or 1/8" female connector ( what goes on your compressor) on the other end. Ask Mr Lermytte for this option. If it can be made, I suppose you can make it yourself the same as the former one.

Let me know what you decided.

And tell me, chap, don't you  think that  searching and choosing a new airbrush is  like  buying flowers  to a girl and choosing the restaurant  : the anticipation of pleasure ?

Thank you all for coming José

Josè---Trying to contact Obeeliks for right fittings for airhose. Can't seem to get an answer from them. Do you have their exact E-mail address? Also, did you purchase their airhose or just the fittings?
