new to airbrushing

I have a single action internal mix (Badger 200) that is pulsing its output.  The air supply is from a compressor with an airtank so I have a steady stream of air.  I have tried my other 2 airbrushes and they work fine.  Any idea what is wrong with this one?  I tried it using plain water and it still pulses.  I have cleanned and recleaned the brush.  I dont know if the opening is damaged or something.

There is a Teflon washer between the head and body.  Over time that washer will flatten and cause the pulsation you are seeing.  I'd recommend replacing it and see if the pulsation goes away.  My bet is that it will.  On my two brushes that have that washer I always loosen the head before storing them to help prevent that from happening.

It is part number 50-055 in This Exploded View of a 200, right between the head and body.
