Do I need Future?
Posted by dogzilla17 on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 11:44 AM

Just finished camo job on the 1/35 Dragon panther D using model master acrylics-- I'm using archer rub on decals, so I dont foresee any silvering problems-- i intend on using artist oils & turpenoid for the wash -- I like the flat finish of the acyrlics, so I'm hesitant to mess w/ any unnecessary steps

If future is recommended, should I go w/ Model master flat finish?

unrelated question-- any tricks to sealing Humbrol tins?

Thanks Much!!

Some people find that a wash flows better over gloss than flat.  I haven't noticed a huge difference myself.

The great thing about laying future down before the wash is if you mess up the wash you can remove it without damaging the paint job.
