It should have come with an adapter to allow the thin nylon Aztek hose to connect with your compressor.  If you want to use a Badger hose, you'll need to get an adapter.  If you can't find anything at your loca hobby shop, poke around through online airbrush retailers who sell Azteks.

Best of luck, Roy.

Many of us say Aztecks have bad joo joo. For the best of times, take the nozzels apart and clean them after each painting session. An avid Iwata fan,   Greg.

Man, you say "Aztek" and there's always someone who has to say something bad about them.  It's like a Ford vs. Chevy debate.  By the way, I thought Aztek airbrushes were originally from England before Testors bought them.

A loving fan of Aztek,

Jesse

First off, let me say Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forumsBig Smile [:D] You'll find alot of helpful people here & alot of advice will come your way. Pull up a keyboard &  chat awhile.   You should be able to get an adapter for your Aztec  at your LHS or even a decent tool retailer.
One person already mentioned there are alot of opinions on the boards about the differences in the airbrushes. "Ford vs. Chevy"
To each their own . I have a BadgerBig Smile [:D]

Take a look at this:

http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=22

It has an adapter on the end that looks like the one I have on mine at home, which I connect to a Paasche compressor. Not sure if it's 1/4", but it might fit the bill.

LOL..... now it makes sense!

When I was working out of the US Embassy in Bolivia in 1996, we had a big 4th of July party. The British Embassy sent over a huge red white and blue cake, with the words "Happy Birthday America! Love- Mum." We got a great laugh out of that.

Welcome to the forum limey!

Did you find the part you needed?

Check your LHS for the adapter (if your AB didn't come with one; my own aztek did), and surf around the net (testors.com) to find one.

BTW, pay no heed to the Aztek bashers, its a fine airbrush that will do the job proper, if you take the time to learn the tool well.

This goes for any A/B. It's  mot so much the A/B, it's what ou can do with it. Whether it be a single action, double action, Badger or Aztek. It's all about your choice & skill. To each their own

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] I'm with Ed on this . I use a Badger 150 and /or a Aztex 470 . Both are good air brushes . If i had the means i'd post a pic of the models i've painted with either of them , you cant see any difference . Ya i know , they both look the same , like c**p .   Laugh [(-D]
