I had this same question.  I got a bottle of MM Enamel and MM Acryl Olive Drab.  I'll spray them tomorrow on some white stock and let you know the results.  I'll see if I can post a pic too.

Ok, the problem is, I can't easily compare them as no where around here stocks MM Acryl, I would have to order it.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] Plus, look at the base color your painting over, the enamel may cover fine, but the acrylic might have to have more coats to get the same depth.

In theory they should be if they are mixed in accordance with the company's standard practices to meet the Fed_Std, the ANA standard, or any of the company's standard recipes.

However you are talking about different materials; different vehicles (i.e. the enamel or acrylic paint carrier which evaporates),  possibly different pigments,  different product lines (different facilities/machinery), different production runs, different days of the week (first day back after a holiday ;-<)   ...  No guarantees can be made.

Paint is not that expensive.  Buy a bottle of each and do a side by side comparison test for yourself

I mean like, if I painted the Olive Drab enamel next to the OD Acryl, would the colours be the same??

If you are searching the paints by Federal Standard numbers, yes they are the same, now as for the bright Red and things like that, I don't know, but I would imagine they are. How are you looking at them, the item number, the FS number, or name?
