I have heard of people using it to prime for a NMF. Theory is, its self-levelling, & fills small sanding marks. I kind of doubt if it would provide enough "tooth" for acrylics. Worth a shot to find out. Its never affected a canopy of mine that I've dipped in Future, though.

Makes sense to me to ask. Future is a lot cheaper than paint. If it worked as a primer it would be great. I would like to know too.

Just wondering, i've read the FAQ, and although it has been very helpful, i haven't been able to get a question on this. also, can future be used as a "primer" so the paint will stick better on it?

please forgive me if this last question makes no sense...
