find, for a soft edge that rolls of blu tack as a mask work really wellyou then just use tape to cover the inside of the mask. I used this method on my spitfire.

Need some Jedi guidance
Posted by Wulf on Thursday, October 19, 2006 9:09 AM

I have a Badger 200nh airbrush and it seems impossible to achieve a clean soft transition bewtween top and bottom colors. The line is just too wide and splattered.  I've tried a fine point kit and can't even get the paint thru it. And yes, I thinned it well. My question is, has anyone tried the 'lifted' mask trick for a softer line? How well does it work? Any instructional sites or comments anywhere?

Thanks.....

Andy
