i have a TINY 1/48 XF-85 and i airbrushed it chrome silve,just wanted to get more "shine" out of it

it was way too small to foil and has 6 tails and wingtip fins that would make metalizer a pain to buff out without breaking anything,,,,,i've yet to order and try Alcad II,they sure seem proud

Hey guys;

I've sprayed MM or Testors dullcote over Future on all of my models for three years with no ill effects.  Just make sure you don't go too heavy with it.  Also make sure you get good coverage with the Future to seal the decals and washes.

I would be very careful about spraying a lacquer over Future. I would imagine if you put it one to heavy, it will eat right through it. I would either find an enamel clear coat or just mist the lacquer on very lightly until its covered then spray a wet coat over that. Can I ask, why do you want to spray the lacquer clear over it?
