Airbrush hose adaptors
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, November 6, 2006 8:07 AM

Hi all,

i bought an Aztek airbrush a few months back and now want to use my compressor to power it, instead of canned air.  Could someone tell me what adaptors etc i'll need? as i dont have a clue.

the compressor has a standard quick release fitting on it.

cheers all!

Its really going to depend on what size your hose is. Is it 1/8? I would imagine you will need the male 1/4" quick realease fitting, maybe an adapter for your airhose. That should be all you need, as long as you have a regulator and a moisture trap.

the current fittings are all 1/4", but i cant find an adaptor to use the standard airbrush hose.  which has a 3/8" internal screw fitting.

sorry for being so vague. but any help is really appreciated!
