When I first got my Badger 175 I checked it out thoroughly, fondling it & I liked the feel. But, didn't have the hose for it & when it arrived, I hooked it up, added paint to the paint cup & went to spray & nothing! I left the cap onSign - Oops [#oops] Ok, so I remove the cap & go to town & then I got air but no paint!!Confused [%-)] I took it apart, cleaned it & still no paint. I contacted the guy who sent it to me & ran down the problem. I was bewildered & I thought oh great, a Lemon...Grumpy [|(]  I go back & tinker with the gun & figured I'd  bring up the manual & see what I could figure out.

I studied the diagrams & compared to the gun, there was something amiss... Come to find out the Protective cap pulls of & doesn't unscrewBanged Head [banghead] I had unscrewed the tip!!Ashamed [*^_^*]

I did exactly the same thing as Scott.Black Eye [B)]

It was the first time I'd ever used a proper AB.

Haven't done it since.

That's the leaving the cap on, not the using an AB!Big Smile [:D]

Look at it as a learning experience my friend.

I bet you won't do that again and that makes it worth it. Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

I was airbrushing recently and no paint was coming out. I started to freak..... then I realized I hadn't turned the compressor on.

I used to have a sergeant in the Army that would tell me "Ya gotta be 10% smarter than the equipment, airborne!"

So i decided to clean and change the tip and needle on my AB. So after i got done cleaning and putting it back together i noticed something wasnt right every time pushed the trigger down it felt like air was beaing pushed back through the air hose after messing around with it taking it apart 5 more times evan cheacking the needle valve i couldnt find any thing wrong and it was still doing the same thing, this went on for 30 or 40 minutes and finely figured out i had the medium tip on with the fine spray regulater. Lets just say it dont work like that so if any body has ever had that isssue and couldnt figure it out there ya go. I made a easy issue into a complex problem.Banged Head [banghead]
