Greetings,

I have the Smartjet jet which is the Sprintjet with an auto shutoff.  If you just got yours, you probably have an air bleed regulator which is not a true regulator.  I was having problems with mine.  Did a little research which led me to Coast airbrush.  They sell the Iwata line and they sent me a regulator and fittings which attached to my moisture trap.  Solved the problem I was having and gave me the ability to dial in exact pressure settings.  Hope this helps.

Is that Iwata an auto-on compressor that comes on when you push the airbrush trigger?

Sometimes a regulator can affect that auto-on system.

Maybe some of you with a compressor like this can help him out better?

I am not familiar with this compressor, I am only familiar with my Badger Million Air and Jun-Air compressors. Sorry. Confused [%-)]

and if so, what 'aftermarket' regulator/moisture trap/psi gauge could i get that would fit it. And/or what type of fittings would i need?
