air flow
Posted by ephriam01 on Sunday, December 24, 2006 4:00 PM

My compressor does not have an air flow regulator on it and belts out at a constant 3psi. do I need a regulator and if so where will I get one? I have just purchased my first double action airbrush ( an Iwata Eclipse CS) and I feel that controlling the air pressure will really improve my paintwork! What do you think??

Cheers

Mark

I think that you can find a regulator in any tehnical store. Take care and good luck with your airbrushing!

As a descendent of Scots I'm not surprised your compressor is so stingy with air! Smile [:)]

I think you need a new compressor if 3psi is all it can do. I'm guessing 30psi is it's capability and yes I think you need a regulator to get the most out of your airbrush. You can buy them online at places like Bear Air or Dixie Art, but you can also get them at hardware stores.

So long folks!
