question about my Badger 150
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, February 23, 2007 9:26 PM
What is the screw that is front of the trigger, or more importantly what does it do? I was thinking maybe it turns into a single action airbrush, but when fully screwed down it doesn't really push the trigger back all that far.

That is a set screw, and while it doesn't turn it into a single action, it limits the travel so that it is easier for you to get a consistent result.

So long folks!

Actually, it does turn it into a single action (well sort of).  It doesn't limit travel the way the Iwata handle does, because when you depress the trigger, a preset amount of paint is sprayed because the needle is pulled back a certain distance already.  With a travel limiting system, no paint is sprayed at first, but the amount sprayed is limited by the amount of back travel allowed. HTH.
