                        Okay...I feel really dumb.  I've got three bottles of Testors airbrush thinner and I can't open a single one of them.  I press and turn until I'm blue in the face, but no luck.  Why does this always happen and how can I fix it?????
                        One good hour working on a model erases 8 bad hours at work!!

                        Try pliers to get 'em open. Works for me.....

                        What I think may have happened is that you sealed the can on a warm day and once the can got cold the vapor condensed and you pulled a vacuum on the can.   The vacuum is causing the lid to seal really tight.   Put the can in a warm water bath for a few minutes then try it again.  Else use the pliers recommended above.

                        Take the plastic part of with some pliers and force, then you won't have to worry about it again.
