Model Master Acryl viscosity

I'm new in here, jumping back into the hobby after 27 years- my how things have changed!  I picked up some MM Acryl, having used the original MM enamels years ago, and understand Acryl is ready for airbrushing right from the bottle.  For various reasons, I wanted to apply some by brush into some tight places and found it to be way too thin to brush without 2 to 3 coats, and air bubbles form in spite of hell.  Any way to "thicken" it slightly?  Also, what is a good primer for this stuff?  I'm rebuilding a 30-year-old 1/32 AFV with the remnants of Testors and Humbrol enamels, as well as some Polly-S acrylics. Thanks!

Welcome back!  I would strongly suggest that you invest in an airbrush.  A good entry level Passche H can be had for under $50.  As for a double action, the Badger 155 Anthem is a good choice.  Either way, it is well worth the investment.

Yeah, that's the one I actually bought, and I like it better than the old Badger 200 I've had since '79.  Easier to clean and, seems to me, more controllable.  The MM colors work great with it.
