Ultrasonic Cleaner questions

Greetings all. I just purchased an ultrasonic cleaner to clean my airbrush. (I told my wife that it would be ideal for cleaning her jewerly ).  Based on previous posts, I recall that some of the regulars here have used an ultrasonic cleaner, so I have a couple of questions-(btw, I'm using acrylic only)-do you use water (distilled) or Windex (or other solution)?  Do you disassemble the A/B or clean it intact?  How long should it stay in the cleaner?  I'm also assuming that if I use a solution other than water that I should spray some distilled H2O thru it, followed by some Regdab.
