life can be easy though. Once you get your fourteen sizes of hose and fitting figured out, leave the hose attached to the brush and put a quick disconnect fitting on the end of it. Just like all the other air tools out there. Then you just snap it in and go.

Yep - that's what you need.

Badger's hose connector is one size, Paasche's another and Iwata's another still.

The adaptor you have linked to will do the trick Smile [:)]

Ok, I'm probably answering my own question, but I just stumbled across this:

http://www.bearair.com/prodinfo.asp?number=110275

This basically tells me there is a difference between Paasche and Badger connections.  Doh! Sign - With Stupid [#wstupid]Sign - Dots [#dots]

Wish I had known that when I bought the Omni.  Live and learn.

I would appreciate a confirmation that I'm on the right track.

Thanks

Airbrush hose connection
Posted by arki30 on Saturday, April 7, 2007 7:32 PM

Could use some help regarding connection of the air supply hose to an airbrush.

I've been using my trusty Paasche VL for several years now, but wanted to upgrade to another airbrush for 1) detail work and 2) just to have backup airbrush.  So I researched and purchased a Badger Omni 5000.

I just noticed the connector on the end of my air supply hose that screws quite easily to my Paasche VL is too large to connect to the Omni!  Confused [%-)]

Anyone else ever run into different air supply connections from airbrush to airbrush?  I would have thought the connections would be standard, but apparently I thought wrong.

Do I need to purchase an adapter for the Omni?  I'm baffled by this one.

Any help would be much appreciated.
