A few weeks back I posted about having some trouble with the rattle can Testors Dull Cote. Several folks suggested trying Polly Scale Flat.
To all who did so- thanks!
It is drop dead flat. Flat, flat, flat. It actually makes the end result look better versus what I saw with Testors. It's hard to explain.... the whole finish just looks better to my eye.
I shoot it right from the bottle, no thinning, using a general purpose acrylic nozzle on my Aztek 470.
The stuff is practically invisible. The first time I sprayed it I wondered if anything was coming out. Then I realized the place I was spraying was turning flat. So I just moved the airbrush around it it was like the magic flat wand.
I love this stuff!
So to those who suggested it- thanks!
