Yann;

Looks great! I was going through some old FSMs and found an article in the March/April 1984 issue (Vol. 2, No. 3) on a do-it-yourself spray booth that used a bathroom exhaust fan, but your fan seems safer because of the "side-blowing" feature.

Not currently working on anything, but looking at a USS England (DE)model to build for the family of a man who served on it during WWII and died a couple of months ago. Could be interesting, because what little experience I have is aircraft.

May the Force be with you!

My home made spray booth!

Yesterday it was Holyday in Canada and here's what I've done:

It is made of simple wooden planks and a kitchen fan a friend of mine gave me.  The fan is a "side blowing" type .... not a "suck thru" type which is safer for "explosive" material.  It gives me 3 different speed and plenty of light.

Exactly what I needed.
To make things easier, the ventilation tube was already there.  It was used for the old "air exchanger system" which is gone since I moved in.

So, not much work but great results.  It is not the most beautifull spraybooth but it is effective.

Let me know what you guys think.

No matter where you go ....... there you are.
