Help! Vallejo paint conversion help needed!
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, May 26, 2007 11:23 PM

Hey guys,

I just bought a whack of Vallejo paint. I got a great deal on a wide assortment of colors. I absolutely love the paint but sometimes I find it hard to match up colors to what I need. Does anyone know if there is a cross reference chart available? Something that I might use to match up Vallejo with other paint manufacturers? I've looked around but can't seem to find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The only one I have come across is here: http://www.geocities.com/tho9900@verizon.net/Vallejo_Paint_Inventory.htm

Can't vouch for its accuracy though.

Well, I finally found something. I thought that I would post this as it will probably be extremely useful for some of you. It's one of the most comprehensive charts that I've come across:

Hope it helps!

wing_nut,

"Cut and Paste" into your browser. I just tested the link and it worked fine.

Nope, I tried that. I have cable internet and the sever seems to be on a dial up connection. It times out before all 4mb can be loaded. I only got 800kb in 2 min. before my browser kicked it off. I tried again resetting my time out settings, and took 5 minutes to load. most pages I go to take 2-3 seconds at most. So it's not my connection.
Take this plastic and model it!

I can email the PDF file to you if you like...it's pretty big though so you might want to make sure your email provider will allow it. Just let me know...
