For some reason, this new model puts out better then their older, more expensive airbrush compressor.
One of my favorite airbrushes is this simple, easy to maintain $10.00 single-action model that frequently goes for $4.00 at the local store, and since I was there, I picked up another of these as well:
It works great for general spraying when I don't feel like worrying about cleaning the double-action internal mixing model with it's needle and moving parts and such.
As well as one of their air brush compressor hoses with a quick-disconnect and used the spare adaptor that came with the $69 package to adapt it to the new compressor by cutting off the end with the 1/4" female pipe-hose fitting, and my old single-action airbrush actually works better with the newer model compressor.
Also, I like that the new model compressor has an automatic shut-off pressure switch that cycles the motor off when you pause using the airbrush for a few seconds. It is nicer then having to turn off the main compressor switch manually in case the pause takes a bit longer.
Also, I love using their supplied propellent can adaptor that comes with the single-action model for touch-up instead of always having to fire up the plug-in compressor.
