I've used dollar a gallon hardware store generic "Paint thinner" for years with never a problem.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

i know you have to use a lacquer thinner,but can someone tell me what? i have general purpose thinner i.e as used in auto enamals, i have mineral turps,and i have white spirits. which one?
