I agree!

I used Acryl for a while and got tired of it's adhesion problems and switched to Tamiya acrylics.

Be very careful masking it !!!!! it pulls off very easily,I had to redo the hull of my Fletcher when masking tape ruined the lower hull.

As I said, letting the stronger decal solutions sit on the paint may cause problems. Just blot up the stuff that's not actually on the decal.

The one caveat is Microsol or Solvaset, either of which will, if left to soak the paint, may attack it. If you use either, be sure to blot up excess around the decal.

Because acrylic paints cure by polymerization, they are not highly susceptible to mere water exposure, even to the point of soaking for short periods.

just make sure it cures first, gives it a day and it's not going to be affected by water for the decal. If you using the flat paint, you'll most likely be doing a gloss coat on top anyway like Future? Been using it for years, never had a problem.

Yes, although if you dont have their thinner you may want to experiment with other options before you paint any kits. I have had good results using this stuff. Once it cures, there will be no ruining by decals whether you put on a gloss coat (if needed) or not.
