do you think those harbor freight compressors are any good jhande? i could buy one of those and have some money left over for more model kits . the one in your link is not listed as quiet though, but i do have a 7 gallon air tank that i've been using in the meantime. if that compressor can at least get the tank up to 50 psi then i'll go with that one, plus i get another airbrush! the one they have for $99 is listed as quiet but it only goes up to 30 psi. |

Sorry for the late reply...
If you plan on spraying T-shirts at all then you will need a compressor that can pump out 60 psi. Mine can. You want quite, so did I, mine is. Something similar to my wifes sewing machine or a fishtank filter. Let's put it this way, I had a head injury awhile back and different things trigger migrains, not my compressor.
As far as many of them "looking alike", well there are only a few companies that actually build them. They will change some specs for different customers. Head over to Sparmax, any of those compressors look familar?
My best advice:
Get one that produces enough pressure or a little more than you need so it won't burn out.
Make sure it has a warranty long enough to be useful.
Buy from a reputable establishment and check there return policy.
The actual setup I bought was this -
IWATA Eclipse-BCS Airbrush Kit with Mini Tank Compressor but at a much cheaper sale price.
