I have used the BMF polish on very well cured gloss enamel and it looks great.  Not sure about acrylics so I would test it first.

I think the dremel will polish away the paint in a hurry!

Tamiya makes a polishing paste in three grades. I find it gives my airliners a great finish. Never used the bare metal foil stuff.

Polishing Finish - Need some tips
Posted by Dmod on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 7:51 PM
I'm attempting to bring a nice shine to an aircraft paint job (as best as it can).  Most paint was satin or gloss.  Used MM Acrylic Gloss coat, sanding to reduce any bumps, and plan on more coats (possibly future) and to polish with bare metal foil plastic polish.  My question, is this a good method to giving it that extra shine?  Should I use a dremel tool with polisher or elbow grease?  Thanks!
