Vega "nailaire" airbrush
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 23, 2007 12:00 AM

Don't hear much about the Vega series of AB's on here - do many of you use them?  I got this one in with some other stuff on Ebay a while back, it's a little awkward for me - too far from the trigger to the nozzle.  Works fine, though, and pretty easy to clean up.

And yes, I'm practicing putting pictures in the posts..  :)

That's a killer A/B fizzwater2, it's alot like the Badger 100SG. Not real up on all A/b manufactures, but Vega is somehow now part of Badger I think? Anyhow, that type of brush is great for small parts. I use my SG by dipping a paint brush in the bottle for a few drops, then add the proper reducer/thinner stir it up and Hey Now! a little bit of paint for a small part or two. I'm doing a 1/24 engine right now and A/B'n all the parts, primer n' finish. You just can't beat the fine layer of paint on those small heads, trany and even the carbs and hoses. You'll use that brush alot once you get used to the trigger deal.(I think that distance looks kinda normal to me?) Cool [8D]
