Decanting spray paints for airbrushing

I'm considering trying this technique. When you do this does the paint need to be thinned or can it be airbrushed as is?

acryl or enamel?  I would not recommend it with acrylic as it usally drys to fast, however if you chose to try it, I would recommend thinning it first.

It's the Tamiya AS spray for aircraft. It's not specified on the can, but their website says they're lacquers.
