Removing primer
Posted by Alpha54 on Thursday, September 6, 2007 5:34 AM
Alright I had some Krylon primer craze all over the hull of Sovremenny now I have some Super Clean the purple bottle at Walmart now will this stuff affect all the Tamiya cement and squadron white putty when I got to remove the primer?

What Ihave done in cases like this is since Krylon is a simple spray enamel, I just take some Wal-Mart paint thinner, spray it on the paint, wait a few, and wipe it with a rag, spray, wipe, repeating as necessary.

I would think the Super Clean is more of a de-greaser, which would in fact tend to accelerate the drying process of the Krylon, making it harder to get off.
