Moisture trap/regulator
Posted by Melkavitch on Sunday, September 9, 2007 4:45 PM
In an effort to get some more airbrush time, I have gotten a round, propane tank size container. This is designed for air, I saw the label, and now want to get a regulator/moisture trap. I realize I need to get the fittings, but will the $14 Harbor Freight model do it? I realize I will probably upgrade to a compressor eventually, but want to tgry this first. Thanks for any input.

Just a little bit of advice....do not use a regulator that is not rated for the pressure in the bottle.........be very careful. Small air cylinders have about 22000 psi pressure when full and thus require a regulator that can handle such pressure. I am sure you should be able to get fittings to adapt an airbrush to your regulator. Cheers Jim

Thanks, I will keep that in mind! New ground for me. The tank has a gauge that goes to 125 psi. I assume that the regulator should handle at least that.
