SNJ vs. Alclad II....And Hawkeye's Talon Acrylic NMF's
Posted by ben1227 on Saturday, September 29, 2007 10:34 AM
I have only used Alclad since I got my airbrush..I read in various magazines that it's all about personal preference, neither is "better" ...So I want to know what you think, and your opinion on the somewhat new Talon Acrylic NMF's and if anyone has tried them. I think they're the only acrylic NMF paints which tempts me to get some because I'm converting to acrylics...

I have not yet used Talon's NMF acrylics, although I have several bottles I plan to use, soon. I did open one and brush a small test sample. I like what I see!

I have also seen, in person, Aaron Skinner's and several other people's work with them, and the finish is impressive. They can also be used with SnJ polishing powders, I understand. I'm really looking forward to trying them.

Hawkeye's Hobbies is a good outfit to do business with, too. Thumbs Up [tup]

Ross Martinek A little strangeness, now and then, is a good thing… Wink
