Check to see if there is a o-ring in the female adapter of the hose. Sometimes the hoses come with a cork ring that will flatten and deform when you tighten it up. If thats the case, it will disrupt the airflow. I just removed mine with no problems.

Hi all,

I've been browsing these forums and have seen some great advice. After reading lots of different opinions, I finally ordered a Slient-Air Scorpion compressor and a Badger 155 AB. What is odd is that when I screw down the AB to the hose, I get almost no air pressure out of the end. I don't use any tools tighten it and don't use an inordinate amount of force either. Just basically snugging it down.

If I back it off a little, it seems to work fine but I can hear and feel a little air coming out of the fitting. Should I be concerned or just wait until this weekend when I actually put some paint through it and see what happens?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff
